Configure Online Depot in VCF 9.1

Until VCF 9.0.2, configuring the Online Depot in the VCF Installer only required a download token from the Broadcom Support Portal. However, in the new VCF 9.1 release, the configuration process has changed.

When you start configuring the Online Depot in VCF 9.1, you will notice a new wizard that introduces two additional options:

• Download Service ID
• Activation Code

These new parameters are now required as part of the authentication and entitlement process for accessing the Online Depot services in VCF 9.1.

In the new version, to configure the Online Depot, you must first copy your Download Service ID and then log in to Broadcom VCF Portal.

Next, navigate to Software Depot Registration, paste your Download Service ID into the Software Depot ID field, and provide a name for your depot. Finally, click Register to complete the registration process.

After clicking Register, you will receive an Activation Code. Copy this code and paste it into the VCF Installer, then click Authenticate to complete the configuration process.

Now the Depot connction is Active and we can download the components of the VCF 9.1
