A non-persistent virtual desktop is a type of virtual desktop in a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environment where any changes made by the user during their session are not saved after logging out. In other words, the virtual desktop resets to its original state, also known as the “golden image” or “base image,” at the end of each session.
