VDI stands for Virtual Desktop Infrastructure. It is a technology that allows users to access and use a virtualized desktop environment hosted on a centralized server or data center. In a VDI setup, each user gets a dedicated virtual machine (VM) that runs an operating system (OS) and applications. These virtual desktops are hosted on powerful servers and can be accessed remotely from thin clients, laptops, desktop computers, or other devices.
